Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney was born Amal Ra. Alamuddin. She was a Lebanese British legal practitioner and human rights activist. Following her graduation from the Oxford University School of Law she embarked on an enduring and lucrative career in human rights and international law. The clients she has worked with have been numerous nation states, including the state of Armenia as it fights to be recognized as the Armenian Genocide by the Turkish government. Amal Clooney was engaged, and then married with American actor George Clooney, instantly making her a household names in the world of pop-culture. Years earlier, Amal Clooney was well-known for her ability to successfully represent her clients before courts and was well-known. Her work ranges from social justice issues and human rights, to representing multinational companies during the negotiation process or litigating cases involving federal regulations. Since 2015, she was an attorney, a type of legal representative within British courts at London-based Doughty Street Chambers.
